Project Description
Kaffekaskshembränningsapparaten is the result of a site-specific work related to the town Gustavsberg in Värmdö. I wanted to see if I could tell a story about life in Gustavsberg through materials, more specifically copper and glass. Looking at material is a way of looking at our history.
The coffe/moonshine-device talks about life in a factory town and how alcohol has been used as a way to control workers and how coffee has became a symbol of sobriety and the union movement.
